Sarah, I have only just read this thread and I want to say thank you so much for sharing. I agree that much more should be done to combat childhood cancers. I work next door to Boston Children's Hospital and often see the children (and their parents) who are there to receive treatments. It's heartbreaking but at the same time I am always impressed by how upbeat and hopeful they are.

Sarah, thank you for sharing this. Please know that you and your family are always in my prayers. A good friend of my husband's lost their daughter to cancer 2 years ago. They are very involved with the Jay Fund in Jacksonville, FL, which is another wonderful organization.
