Deborah, that brought a smile to my face, you cheeky one from Down Under.
Angie, thank you for putting me in Killer territory; I love it when that happens!
Shannon, "fierce," check! That's what I like.
Jayne, Rute, Diane, Ceit, Shevia, you make me feel spectacular with your kind comments and I did feel good that night.
Suz, you're still making me laugh, days later, with your most clever response. So, you KNOW Todd well!
Lantana, Parsley, Susie, nancylee, biscuitmom, Inge and bj1111, I appreciate the "white-on-white" love. It does make me feel cool and it got a bit warm in the club with all the light, people and action.
Todd Rundgren seems to be reinventing himself these days with some amazing new songs that have received wonderful reviews. There was an awesome light show and his drummer and lead guitarist were the best. He didn't touch his oldies, which was alright with me, until a very brief encore and he ran through them quickly and they almost seemed out of place with what we'd just experienced.
This isn't my video, but it was taken that night at the venue:

I particularly liked "Secret Society" "Ping Me" and "Nothing to Lose" in his set.
Also, a young band named Mt. Ossa opened for TR and they were extraordinary and play at a club in L.A. (Echo). There was a lot of love for them at our table and we felt they sounded a bit like a modernized New Radicals or the Plimsouls. http://blogs.ocweekly.com/hear.....achine.php
Thanks again; I love small clubs and live music and must do it more.
