Has anyone tried these on? I am considering them but wondering about comfort. Also, how do they fit? I have a narrow foot. Finally, do you think the elastic bands stretch over time?

BUT
I've worn a lot of shoes with elastic, which from my experience doesn't tend to change much (unless the quality is terrible). Most elastics last at least three years of hard wear, especially around the ankle since they usually allow support and movement but , if high enough up, ideally will only be stretched when you put them on . Hope that helps!

I ordered a pair of Gentle Souls that had elastic, and the elastic cut into my ankles so badly that I couldn't wear them.

Aquamarine - I was looking at those too. I have the GS bay unique in leather and suede. The elastics do not stretch out, they are fabulously comfy and even my neuroma loves them. I did recommend them to Betty Crocker and she found them excruciating. But they are heaven to me. I have the EF allot flats and these are similar so I did not buy. But I am still considering because I can wear so few shoes now. Good luck but imho they are worth the try on!! I did 1/2 size up because I bought them when I broke a toe so the elastics are loose. Don't know if that was the difference.

I have these under consideration because of the elastic. Last summer I wore EF Allots and loved that the soft elastic actually fit my skinny ankles (although it did not stretch, didn't need to).

ALeigh...very helpful, thanks! I have sandals with elastic bands over the foot itself, and they did stretch out after one season But I see your point, and I am hopeful then that these would work.

Betty and gryffin....thank you for sharing your experiences. I guess the only way to tell will be to try them. I have never worn a sandal like this, so who knows how it will feel. I am very, very picky about sandals and have a difficult time buying any. I have never tried this brand before so I think it's worth a shot.

I find Gentle Souls shoes too narrow for my wide feet, so they might be perfect for you! They're so comfortable.
