They do look too wide may look better in black but the pewter ones are awesome!

You are probably already aware of this, but I just wanted to give a rec of the Barking Dog shoe blog, which does reviews of shoes for a variety of foot problems and conditions (and often includes pictures of them on the foot).
I hope this is ok within Angie and Greg's terms of aervice - if not, apologies and please let me know and I will delete.
Those pewter ones are pretty cool - I can just imagine you rocking them!

Those just don't fit your feet.
Next!

These sandals are going back. I ordered the black ones out of curiosity but also in a medium width. I may order the Shellys London sandals to replace my pewter Fly Londons (same style, different color as below) which are starting to look shabby and are also a fugly sandal. Fugly seems to give me the best fit and support.

My takeaways, and maybe this applies to you as well:

1. If I am unsure and have to ask, it is more likely than not a sign that it should be returned.

2. Take photos, even if you show no one else. I have a tendency to buy too big, and the looseness of these shoes was not so evident until I saw the photos.

I am all over those Shellys, a shop for which I have some very fond memories. I quite liked the rejects but these are so much better. Very you. Please order them!

A thought on fussy feet: this summer I'll be wearing a pair of favourite sandals with a padded silicone insole. Haven't tried them all day yet but early signs are promising.

I like the Shellys. Very funky looking.

I have very difficult feet. I also have a pair of Trippin boots. Very comfortable and funky looking.

Seeing them on your feet makes all the difference here. I still think the black might not look as bad as these, but I agree that the other options are better, although more expensive.
