These are YOUR boots Rae! They look amazing on you, work with every single one of the outfits you posted, look like they fit perfectly and totally suit your style.

BTW - you look like a flamingo in your one-legged post - very delicate!

heavens! I can't imagine anyone trying to talk you out of these beauties! Keep for sure!

Do you want to be talked out of them? For reals? These are some fab boots! The only thing I don't love them with is the midi length skirt. The knee and mini skirts seem to work better with the very tall boots. Love them!! The color is great for spring and summer.

WHY would you even consider returning these? These are fabulous!

I especially love them in 3, 5 7. These are gorgeous on you, Rae! I love the bit of UWP the lace ups add. They are sleek and totally you!

I really LOVE this look on you! You look fantabulous!

I didn'rt have time yesterday to comment on your flamingo pics, but even then it was clear these are gorgeous on you!

I can see they are neutral enough to play nicely with lots of things, but the lace-up keeps them from being neutral dull.

I can hear Angie's lace-up suggestion in my head: tuck in the laces up top.

These ARE keepers, right?

Heee! I'm glad you guys like these - like Mo, I was a teeny bit afraid they'd be too tall, but nuts to that! I even kept them in my closet last night (usually keep shoes in the boxes while I decide), even though I did keep the packaging. I'm really not sure what I'd have done if you'd hated them

Looks like someone has to order more boot spray...

Oh yay!! I'm half tempted to unpack mine and tromp around the house in them I find it interesting that the more lace you see on yours changes up the loook a bit.
And do tell, boot spray?? I've only used Sno-seal beeswax on my Docs and Sorels. Totally clueless about any spray.

Ok I figured why I wasn't so sure about them at the beginning. I don't like them with rusty warm browns, eg in #6, #7 and #8. I think with the cooler tones it works better. Just my two cents.

OH YAY! I'm surprised you didn't sleep in them last night, they are so perfect! I'm so, so. so happy for you! You have worked long and hard and endured much disapointment to find these and you deserve every drop of happiness they bring. *sigh*

Now I think I'll go find Fry's website and drool over the flat ones....thanks for the info Nat and Rae!

I WANT THOSE BOOTS!! Love them with the heel and lace ups.

Absolutely Fabulous, Rae! You are just beaming in these boots. Your smile says it all. Outfits are just as good. Was hoping to see them with your jeans, both over and under. I'm thinking they should look good with your white skinnies, and very sexy peeking out from under some boot cuts. Can't wait to see that.

Cheers
Julie

Mo, it won't be long before we are boot twins! I don't want to wear mine out yet, either, because I'm afraid I'll spill something on them before they are protected. I've been using Wilson's Leather waterproofing spray - reviews said it would not change the color of the leather, and that's important to me.

Anna, I hear what you are saying. The mix of warm and cool tones doesn't bother me, but I can surely see how it would look off to many others.

Claire, you'd look awesome in some gray lace-ups - no gap issues with lace-ups! You, too, citygirldc!

I love these boots on you and want them soooo badly. I only have 3 winter skirts....so I think I'm going to invest in more skirts and dresses before making the investment.

I love the boots too, but I'm with Anna on liking them much better paired with cooler tones.

These are perfect Rae boots! I love the color for year 'round when they aren't too warm.

SQUEEE!! These are perfect for your wardrobe!! Your boot quest has a happy ending!

When I was scrolling through the pictures I looked at the boots (even on one leg) and thought these look good and I really like the color. In the last picture I fell in love with the way they look. And they go with everything. Great purchase.

Julie, I think we posted at the same time. Now that I'm keeping 'em, I'm sure I will experiment with skinnies and jeans, too. I just had to make sure they worked the way I needed before exploring the just for fun looks.

Rita, I agree about the midi - the dress seemed shorter while I was stomping around.

SuzToo, these have reawakened my excitement for wearing shorter skirts. If you do end up getting more skirts, I would definitely give the boots a try.

I have to say that I love these boots on you!!! They go perfectly with every outfit you've shown. I'm so jealous of you having boots that fit your leg so well and are so tall on your leg, yet look perfect! Yay for finding the perfect boot!
