Inspired by several of you I have been purging boxes of saved dressy clothes from the '80s and one from before. I found three silk 32-inch square scarves I bought on a trip to Provence ages ago--'97 or '98 I think. They are heavy silk, similar quality to Hermes scarves. I had completely forgotten about them and can't remember the last time I wore one. I do like the heavier silk, but they don't seem right to me.

Are these passé? I don't see many large square silk scarves around these days. I am undecided.

#1 I bought in Nimes. It has a French signature--Robert something--I can't figure it out.

#2 is from the Matisse Museum in Nice

#3 is a Ferragamo--I think from a store in Cannes.
