At H&M of all places, in one of my recent but still infrequent store visits, in a regular size small. I love the style and color, it's a warm fabric, and the fit is good - roomy enough to fit over a fairly heavy sweater. $60 US. It is NOT the lifetime investment coat I was hoping to find, but I'm totally ok with that. I can continue that search if I like and donate this one if I get so lucky as to find one.

A little more brown than camel, which is fine. I found this plaid scarf to go with but have a dark floral and others that will work too. I prefer to wear winter scarves in this snug-to-the-neck style because it's a lot warmer than the more open flowy wrap style. So far I'm liking the length but I might decide to chop off a few inches. Maybe the sleeves too although I like slightly long sleeves on winter coats. Would love to hear your opinions on the overall body length.

And, as a bonus, I found almost exactly the same coat at H&M in a grey herringbone. It's sized just differently enough that I brought home a medium. No photos yet.

My warm overcoat collection contained a black one and a deep cobalt one, neither which I felt like wearing very often, but neither of my two most worn neutral colors of grey and camel/brown, so I'm VERY happy to have added these two coats. .
