*WHEW* Okay, now that I'm an honest woman again, I can tell you what I learned by trying them on. They are an awesome silhouette for boots/dresses or boots/skirts. I think they'll also be great for really skinny skinnies that you can tuck in or leggings.
Fit wise, they were fine with my wide foot. Not fantastic, but workable. I tried them in my normal size (9) and they worked fine. A half size up would probably be better (but I'd have to pay shipping on it). Since they are suede, I'm betting that they'll loosen up a bit more and be totally comfortable even in the smaller (my normal) size. I'll probably have mine stretched in the store if they don't loosen up enough at home.
The suede is kind of a waxed suede. I bat for team polished, but they looked fine to me. A little rough, but comfortably just a little funky for this team polished girl. I didn't get to see the burgundy, but I bet it is lovely.
