I ran to my local store and picked up these booties in cognac, the shawl in burgundy and the kimono cardigan in black. None of these were the colors of chosen online. The shawl isn't even the same one I'd been eyeing. I had my eye on the navy ribbed one, but in person preferred the lighter weight which allowed for it to be worn as a scarf too.
Now that I'm home I'm smitten with the kimono. So much so that I contemplating returning the shawl for a duplicate of the kimono in gray.
The booties feel nice. I didn't size up as suggested. Sizing up left me too much room past the toes and a wiggly heel. My normal size is snug with socks but perfect without, and this is on swollen summer feet, so I feel confident in my choice. I'll likely remove the tassel once I'm 100% sure on them. Edited to add finds.
