Actually, everything I ordered except the Barbour jacket and Spanx leggings (which are backordered...) came in today. And a lot is probably going back.

(1) Betsey Johnson dress. The print and feel of the fabric were wonderful, but the fit was not great--this is actually more of a dropped waist dress than a true fit and flare. I think part of the problem is that the dress is actually too long in the waist on me--I usually don't have this problem in true fit and flares, but the dropped waist creates that problem. It pulled across my hips too much because the waist was sitting too low. This is definitely going back.

(2) Rag and Bone dres, in Burgundy. I loved these on everyone else on the forum but once I saw them for myself I was not wowed. For one they're more of a browned purple than what I'd call a true burgundy. Carter and others weren't kidding on the wrinking in the front--the pair I got was *already* wrinkled. The fit is actually fine, but I have tried on more flattering jeans (including the Hudsons I tried on at Nordstrom this weekend) and this is more than I usually pay for a jean, so...probably going back. Maybe I'll stalk the Verdugos to see if they come back in a 26.

(3) Aquatalia booties. I am not sure what to make of these. They are definitely quite sleek, but I expected them to be softer--they are quite stiff and the suede doesn't have that amazing soft look, maybe because they are waterproofed suede? These were about $300 and I feel like I could probably get 2 good pairs of booties from another brand for that much money, especially on sale. Probably a return, especially given price.

(4) Franco Sarto loafers. Totally fine as an item, this particular size (5.5) is a bit too small. Going to exchange for a 6.

(5) AGL oxfords. Wasn't that impressed by them online (though I like my existing AGL oxfords), saw them in person this weekend at Nordstrom and fell in love. They didn't have my size in store though so they had to be ordered. The thing that threw me off online was the chunky sole, but that was partially summer goggles--I wouldn't wear these oxfords in the summer like I do with my other AGLs, but that tread and sole will be perfect for fall and winter, both in terms of weather conditions and in terms of darker color palette.

I appreciate your thoughts as well!
