first attempt with mid-calf boots

warning: This outfit did't left the house, the dress is too short and the booties still have tags (I'm not sure about the fit).
Loved this mango boots, only 39€, so I would like to give it a try.
I have muscular calves, do these booties hit on the right spot?
Can I wear this outfit on weekends with black opaque tights?

You look great Rute - but I am not sure if these are mid-calf or high shaft boots but it doesn't really matter what you call them - very leg flattering length on you.

You could wear these booties with tights but I LOVE them with bare legs. (Especially yours -- you have terrific legs!) I know what you mean about the dress, but would it really be too short with tights?

I personally love this look. I don't think it is leg shortening at all (or if it is, it certainly does not impact you).

Not sure why this didn't leave the house, aside from the fact that you're not sure about the fit of the boots. The whole thing looks great, and the dress doesn't look remotely too short!

Love it Rute. When you said muscular legs, I wasn't expecting gorgeous calves with slim ankles. The boots fit like a dream. I would keep them if they were comfortable without question. I also don't think the dress is too short. You have the legs for it.

Boots and dress look amazing on you. The boots hit at the perfect spot to showcase your gogeous legs. Adding tights and experimenting with a longer length coat will give the dress great versatility.
