Your jumper is lovely well done. I think your hair is really gorgeous it has grown so much it really suits you

Omg,you have made a very good job of this haven’t you!You should be very proud and it suits you perfectly.

Thanks for so many complements about my hair! I wasn’t expecting this….although I am happy with the length and style so it’s nice to get confirmation from others. I owe everyone on this forum my gratitude for helping me sort out products and how to take care of longer wavy/curly hair. Without YLF, my hair would be a frizzy mess!

Those sleeves! Wonderful fit all around, but the shoulder line is terrific. You look happy and healthy in these photos

Oh, plonk! This looks great on you and it’s amazing that you knitted it. The yarn is beautiful.

Fabulous sweater, I love it.

Wow, it’s beautiful! It looks like the right size to me…in my experience, I’m always unhappy sizing up because handmade knits always seem to grow on me.

Agreeing your hair looks gorgeous, too.

Returning to add that the yarn that you used also looks lovely. What is the yarn composition? It reminds me a little of musk ox yarn (from the undercoat) which looks lovely and is soft and extra warm.

Wow - I'm simply in awe of your skills and ability to get a project like this finished! (my own foray into knitting resulted in many 1/2 finished sweaters, blankets etc, lol). And your hair!! Fabulous.

How beautiful, great job! You look sensational!

WOW!!! KILLER SUBLIME!!!

Perfect

Joyce B. It’s made with two yarns from Shibui.

I used Shibui Cima, a lace weight yarn composed of 70% Superbaby Alpaca and 30% Fine Merino. The fuzzy sections use the Cima plus Shibui Silk Cloud a lace weight yarn which has 60% kid mohair and 40% silk.

I always thought mohair would feel itchy however, I have recently been told that mohair mixed with silk is not itchy. It seems true with this yarn.

The pattern calls for fingering weight yarn…Shibui Pebble, which has 48% recycled silk, 36% fine merino and 16% cashmere.

Thanks for the info, SF. Your sweater looks like it is made from quality yarn.
It has some fab fibers. Interesting that mixing mohair with silk makes it less itchy, but also your yarn has kid mohair which comes from baby angora goats and is finer/thinner than adult angora mohair yarn and is very soft and not itchy.
Your next projects sound exciting, too.
Have fun and please share the results.
I think I will get back to knitting soon

Amazing! Really impressed with your knitting.

Wow -- you look justifiably pleased with the results! The sweater is beautiful and looks amazing on you -- I am in awe of anyone with such talent. Another fan of the hair, too!!

Wow, that is gorgeous!! You are so skilled—it fits perfectly!

So very cool. I am very impressed.
