The first one wasn’t a planned or budget purchase, but I happened upon this white star-print blouse in a local boutique and really liked it, so it came home with me. The fit is very nice, and it’s just casual enough to work with jeans, but would dress up if I need it too. It lies well under a topper and looks good under a vest, too. This works with my goal to add a bit more white to my wardrobe as well.
(ETA: I was also trying on the DL1961 side stripe jeans in the photo, upon urging by the SA — I did not buy those. They were ok but I didn’t love the length and I don’t need more skinnies.)
I also succumbed to lust for this feather-light blue camo print cashmere beanie. I get a ton of wear from my black cashmere beanie/beret, and it’s not easy to find ones that fit nicely and are so lightweight.
I’ve also ordered a few skirts to try, since I’m trying to plan ahead for spring/summer. Floaty, lightweight casual printed skirts (with black in the print to pair with my black tanks and tees) have worked so well for me that my old skirts are looking worse for the wear.
My four-item limit for February might be shot if a couple of skirts work, but I’m ok with that if I find great things before the actual wearing season.
