I love army green/olive, but I don't tend to think of it as a neutral (although I can see how one might -- it's not a very "definite" type of green, is it?). Certain shades of army green are probably my "best" (i.e. most flattering) colour.

My favourite actual neutral is black, simply because I like it a lot. I do need to wear mascara and lipstick if I'm wearing black, though.

My second favourite is a medium heather grey, followed by charcoal.

I also like navy, dark brown and even beige, although I don't have a lot of any of these in my closet.

I like black, white, navy, and heather gray. I like beige on other people, but I haven't found a tone of it that works well with my skin tone yet!

Thank you Kaelyn! Coming up with Pinterest board names is half the fun for me.

Black, navy, and pewter are my favorites. I found it a huge relief to remove all neutrals that didn't work for me from my wardrobe (brown, beige) and keep / expand the neutrals I love.

sienna, I feel you about beige. It just DOESN'T seem to look good on me. I an not a beige girl. I think some people look absolutely beautiful in it but the idea of me actually wearing it just makes me sad.

Penny, good for you removing the neutrals that don't make you happy! That's how I felt when I stopped wearing brown. (Except for this one brown hat I have, and I'd consider a brown leather jacket if it was just the right one.)

My favorite neutrals are black, white, charcoal, metallics (silver / pewter) and denim. I wear navy but for me it is more of a color than a neutral. I have a bag in a caramel color but other than that I basically have no browns in my wardrobe at all.

My favorites would be navy blue, black, dark (and I mean dark) brown, occasionally gray, and if a dark purple would count then that would be my list!

Kaelyn, beige seems to be a polarizing colour. Some people wear it and they look classy and elegant (like my mother used to), but on the other hand, it earned the term "soul-sucking beige" on this forum -- probably coined by someone whose complexion didn't suit it! But I think there's some truth to that. If beige makes you look radiant, it's fabulous; if it doesn't suit you, it's truly dreadful.

White/cream/ivory, pale taupes, and dove gray are my favorites. I wear most of them, though; definitely don't have a "neutral core" like many do. Besides those I just listed I also wear black, all shades of gray, tan/sand, brown in leathers only, navy/ink... as well as animal prints and all kinds of metallics. And I quite like to mix 'em all together ^^

Black, grey and navy. Also metallic silver/pewter if that counts. I would add olive if I could find the right pieces.

Black, grey, brown, and camel. I find those congenial to a RATE, slightly bitter style. Lol.
