My favorite used to be Soapwalla (original scent--the citrus scent was irritating), but that one has started irritating my armpits this year for some reason. I never smelled with it, and it didn't stain my clothes. I do have other skin issues going on, so my skin is more sensitive than usual.

I am currently using Primal Pit Paste in jasmine. I do think it yellows my clothes a bit. But I don't smell, and my pits seem to be happy again.

When my armpits are super sensitive, I use the crystal deodorant some others have mentioned. What I have found to be incredibly important with this one is to wash my armpits with soap before putting it on. Otherwise it doesn't work. I also sniff the crystal occasionally to make sure that it hasn't been contaminated with underarm bacteria. If it smells bad, then I rinse it off well and wipe it off, and it's good as new.

Along with the crystal deodorant, I put on some powder that I made from a natural body care recipes book. I think it has kaolin clay, cornstarch, and a bit of tea tree oil--can't remember. Anyway, I think that a dusting of powder on top of a true deodorant (where you will still be sweating) works really well. I have used talcum powder in the past, but some people are concerned about carcinogenic properties of talc. I did have a health professional some years ago tell me that it's a concern only if used by the genitals, but maybe that information has been updated since--not sure.

Another Weleda fan here. I’ve used almost all of the scents, both the spray and roll-on formats, but keep coming back to the Men’s 24-hour as the least noticeable and most effective.

DH uses unscented roll-ons, either Thai Crystal or Alvera, and those work really well but neither is aluminum free if that’s a concern.

Thank you so much, everyone! I have a great list going! I am on a mission to save my tees!

I use the same one as Bonnie.

What Runcarla said. Have used it forever.

Also, they don’t sell travel sizes of unscented deodorant ( at least not the major brands in the store bins.)

So, I tried one of those travel hacks to melt some down and fill am empty travel size. It worked for awhile and I thought I was smart stuff, then it kinda fell apart.
So now I just save a couple of nearly used- up regular size— since it’s for regular travel, not backpacking, I can save weight in suitcase but there is enough physical space for the container.

Fresh Sugar works better for me than any other, in terms of not leaving stains, drying quickly and working even in the heat.

When it's not really hot, I have been using a natural deodorant block from Lush, but I don't like to sweat, so it's out for this time of year.

I use Keihl's and have used it for years. I really like it. Unscented, I haven't had staining with it, and the antiperspirant works.

Secret Black & White solid is the one I use ... it's not perfect but definitely keeps me fresh and is less damaging to my t-shirts that other brands ... another trick I learned it to occasionally give your t-shirt armpit areas a good pre-treat with vinegar ... it seems to remove the build-up and minimize or slow the yellowing effect.

Dove 0% (= 0% aluminium) roll-on deodorant.
