Yay. Nice vertical line.

Thanks, everybody! The weather cooled off enough last night that I took the tags off the fur vest and popped it over a Hinge flowy blouse, Paige skinnies, and my black moto boots for an impromptu dinner out with my sweetie. He loved the vest (called it "very rock'n'roll" which is one of our benchmarks for style!) and I felt great wearing it. I didn't see anyone else sporting one in these parts yet, but Annapolis is quite traditional -- I'll more likely spot this trend when I'm in Baltimore.

The shearling is still in the closet with tags on. I may feel compelled to wear it on a more casual day, perhaps with a thicker layer underneath. If it doesn't grab me, it'll go back to Nordies.

Yay! So happy you are keeping the fur vest! It looks amazing on you!

I am replying again. Yesterday I was out shopping and found a vest very similar to number two but in a soft camel color. I carried it around the store while thinking about it. In the half hour or so I had it, my black pants ended up covered in off-white fluff. I put it back as soon as I noticed what had happened. It was a definite downside.

I'm glad you kept the faux fur one. It looks great.

Fur vest, fur vest, super on you!
