Shiny - All the best!!

Shiny, I have no advice but hope the interview goes well. They would be so lucky to have you as an employee.

I certainly understand your desire to hit the right note. I think this leaves room for a trendier top (have fun with either a bolder print or a bolder color) You may also apply the same technique to your shoe or belt choice. Switch to a skirt and go with colored hose in a dark neutral -- I am crushing on berry tones right now. I definitely think you should go with suit-like pieces and creating an unmatched suit makes it casual but still nods toward the seriousness of the meeting. Good luck!!

I'd go with the dress and blazer, just in case it really is a test for cultural fit that you'll fail if you wear a suit. Why risk it?

Tons of luck! So nice to see you

You have lots of great dresses, and you rock a dress and jacket like nobody's business, so I'd be inclined to go that route if you can come up with a combo you love. But either way, you'll look great. Good luck, and let us know how it goes!

Still suit for interview and then whatever.
Good luck

Good luck, Jennifer!

Hey there, I went with the blue/cream paisley l/s blouse, gray dress slacks, funky black ponte knit blazer with 3/4 sleeves (allowing blouse to show), and blue suede booties. I felt comfortable and confident and I think it struck the right note, though I probably would have been just as fine in the originally planned black pants suit, as the place was not as casual as I have seen at many high tech companies. I didn't see anyone wearing jeans, for example. So a black pants suit would have been appropriately "slightly overdressed" whereas a matching suit and skirt with oxford shirt and pumps would have been overkill…

The interview room had the AC pumped up high, on a cold day, so I am very glad I opted for the ponte knit blazer instead of the suit jacket, as I definitely needed the extra warmth!

Thank you all for your advice and help!

Sounds like a great choice. Crossing fingers for you!

Sounds like you are set! Good luck!
