The NAS sale has put me in fall wardrobe mode. There are two questionable items that I'd like to add, but don't know if they make much sense. The first item is the Frye Patty Booties. SUPER cute, Love the color and that they are ankle booties. The issue is I cannot wrap my head around a single office ensemble that would include these boots! My SIL says they are not dress friendly...which is probably true. This is probably a case of wanting an item that makes no sense for my wardrobe. Cute for weekends, but I don't usually run errands in heels that high. At the NAS, I bought some really cute work appropriate peep toe booties, which my SIL swayed me into getting because they really make sense with my wardrobe...only I can't stop loving the Fryes.
Next is the Downton Field Jacket in Navy. I have this jacket in Olive and love it so much. I came across it on sale today at JCrew for about half off. It's navy and would go with a lot of things, but do I need another? In my head, they go perfectly with the orphan boots, as well as the new navy wrap dress I just got today (but boots + dress do not work together!).
In other possibility news, I would really love the Melissa Harness boots -- but could they work with skirts and dresses? They aren't sleek and sexy, but I like that about them. I have the Melissa Buttons in Cognac for sleek sexy flats. Should I get the Harness Boots instead of the booties, since I already know they can fit into the wardrobe?
