MaineLady: Re the Cole Haan site, they have an Outlet page you have to click on to get their most discounted pieces. And Zappos has past season merchandise on sale as well. It’s of course off season and hit or miss, so not great for in season purchases like this, but I like the hunt.

I love these! I find the hybrid gives me the extra cushioning I need with the refinement I crave. Have many Cole Haan oxfords (add insoles) and see why they appeal to you. Enjoy!

yay! excellent! love the gold. I just recently got a new pair of Cole Haan white leather/leopard sneakers, now im ready for fall.
I have an older pair of the Cole Haan shiny gold loafers--so comfy, and Im ready to put them back into rotation.

Might need to get one of those cute new hybrids, since I can hardly wear any "hard sole" shoes any more. its hard to go back from really comfy sneakers and padded insoles, and I don't really have any reason to!
