I love them. I think you'll find lots of things to wear them with. Cole Haans are usually comfy and stylish. I love the gold trim.

They look pretty to me, and I don't think I would find Cole Haan tacky -- their color and material choices are typically very tasteful. Hope you love them!

I think they could def. work - and if they don't you could certainly go with a classic leopard print shoe as MaryK and others said. I was pleasantly surprised at how "neutral" a classic leopard print really is. I wore my leopard belt with a burgundy blouse last year and loved how it looked together. I also love the leopard with deep green, charcoal, and several other colors .I bought some leopard shoes earlier this year and same goes - I LOVE how "neutral" they are!
