Thanks so much, Una, Angie, and everyone for your kind welcome. Even in just a few days, I am now seeing how much more I will learn by participating instead of just reading along. (And, it's waaaaay more fun!) Maybe, just maybe, some style evolution will follow for me too. Also, I totally understand that for veterans it must be very strange to just now "meet" people who have been following you and "seeing" you for some time. Please know though that your openness and your willingness to put yourselves out there and share your own journey has been a great inspiration and truly a blessing to me and I can only hope to give back in kind.

Thanks Una for starting this thread. Welcome newbies! I've been a part of this forum for 3 years (longer if I count all my lurking days). I still have trouble remembering so many members so I probably will get a bit lost on who's who.

Thank you all for your gracious welcome to those of us who have come to adore you from afar! I appreciate your kindness and acceptance and thank you for not considering we lurkers as "weird." Some of us just need to feel comfortable with a group before joining in and you all have made that a most enjoyable learning experience. I, too, appreciate the benefits of posting photos and hope to do so myself -- that is, after all, how I became inspired by each of you! Thanks for that.

Warm welcome from me too! I remember all too well how I was amazed by the friendship and warmth of this forum and how I wanted to join and be a part of it! This feeling was so strong that it helped me to overcome my usual shyness and start participating. One of my initial worries was that this group of women seems to be so knit togetger that as an outsider I won't fit in. Oh boy, what a silly feeling it was! YLF is the most welcoming community I have ever encountered and in a couple of weeks I felt like I have known these ladies forever!
