I got mine! They are keepers. I will need to hem mine a little bit I think but for now I might just wear them turned under -- they are soft and comfy without being overly stretchy. I haven't been able to see myself in a mirror or pics yet (they came tonight and our full length mirror is in the guest room with our..um...guests!) but I will snap picks tomorrow. I found them TTS. I like that the calves are not super tight. I ordered my regular size. I could also see wearing them looser and might consider ordering up once I see the pics. (I have lately been buying my skinnies a bit bigger for a touch of slouch.)
Hopefully mine will come tomorrow (they were shipped today). Although I don't keep my breath for the fit, I am sure they will be too short, too tight in the thighs or calves, too long in the rise...no, I will not wait for them with bated breath! Or maybe just once in my life they will fit just like a late birthday present? Maybe?...
I am crossing my fingers that these will work out, for myself and others! Thanks for the report Suz. I can't wait to see them with some of your blues, blue and ivory sounds like a divine combination.
I ordered these in two sizes last night at 30% off. I can't wait to get them. Thank you for bringing this rare cream full length jean to our attention.
Soft. Luscious quality. I tried them on this afternoon and they are "exactly" as Angie says! She nailed the quality and softness. I'm still thinking about my need for the color as I eat a salad of lettuce, arugula, beets and curried pumpkin seeds.
I got them! I went back this afternoon to look at them again, because as I had written on someone else's thread (Suz's maybe?) I was in a huge hurry the other night when I checked them out and in a bad mood to boot - so my judgement was cloudy Anyway, after seeing the way that they fit on Suz and Sveta - and how amazing they looked on them, I grabbed 3 different pairs and walked into the dressing room with renewed motivation and inspiration. And, ta-da! The very first pair that I tried on fit (I think) perfectly! Woot! Very happy about that! And, I got a serious discount (40% automatically in the store,) plus I had the left-overs from a gift certificate - so I only paid $32. for them! I really liked them after that! I already know that these will be a workhorse in my wardrobe. It hit me last month as I was taking pics of my daily WIW's how much I was wearing the Paige Ivory Troy Boys - and constantly having to wash them - so, it will be good to transition these into the rotation - my Troy Boys will thank me - not near so much washing for them! (Suz - I ended up with a 25 - I can still pull them down to my ankles when they are all zipped and buttoned up - but they are more fitted in the hip/rear-end area than a boyfriend.)
I got them, too! They are on their way, at 40% off and it was a size 2 online and 26 in the store, which I was told is the same. I didn't get the ones in the store, because there was a mark on them and I was still thinking about them.
But, reading the comments here and realizing that I wear jeans most of the time, it made sense. Looking forward to seeing your posts.
I also can't wait to see these jeans in action on Angie!
All these posts are making me want to order a pair myself, even though that would be completely ridiculous as I: 1. already own a great pair of cream skinnies by 7 for all Mankind 2. have a white skinny pair on my wish list as one of biggest current wardrobe holes.
So no, I will stay strong and not order them, but am obviously suffering from a very bad case of lemmingitis
LOL, maybe this is where I admit that I have two pairs of white Kut Diana skinnies.
Oh yes, and I already own a pair of Vince cream jeans.
Is there a support group anywhere?
(My defense: the white Diana skinnies are so awesome and white does stain, so a backup pair makes sense. And the cream Vince jeans never fit quite right. So it's totally sensible. Right? Hello?)
He he Beth, I think you do not need a support group at all. Because the total number of various white and cream jeans I own is, wait for it, seven! You read that right, S-E-V-E-N! And I have just listed a skinny white pair as my current biggest wardrobe hole. So if you need a support group than I need to be locked up in one of those places for delusional people.
Yay! Looking forward to a fun cream jean ensemble from Angie!
UPS tracking says mine will be here tomorrow. And if that weren't enough excitement, I'll be rocking the sparkly tank formula for my class holiday party tomorrow- woot! woot!
