Too funny!
For DH: I love this camera... waterproof shockproof great for outdoors use and take a pretty decent picture too!

I'm chiming back into to say that DH has recently started ordering online and picking up things from Lee Valley. They sell an odd assortment of things but I figure this works to my advantage and his eyeballs can't be rolling too far, if he is doing the same. Although, caveat, no returns. hahaha

HA! I'm pretty convinced my house has become one of the anchor points on my UPS delivery folks' routes. I'm not an anchor tenant, I'm an anchor addressee!

You and I both know that a lot can come in and be returned due to our circumstances. A busy schedule, a love of fashion and PPP combined lead to lots of shipping and returning. Ain't nothing wrong with that. It keeps people employed.

That is so funny! You were found out!

When my children were little, my Mum used to baby sit them. One day, the UPS truck delivered something to my house and they asked my why the QVC man was coming to see me.
I inquired why they called him that and they said it was the same truck that delivered all of Grandma's QVC goodies so they assumed he worked for QVC! I had a good laugh

Funny stuff. We give our delivery guy a gift each year for Christmas. We live a long way back on a winding road so if we cross paths on the way in/out we also stop so he can give us our packages and he can save the extra 15 min. drive time.

I really should show this thread to DH and DD so they know I'm not alone. . . .But at least DH knows I return a lot of these deliveries to B&M stores because I keep returns by the door.

My post man knows my name too! And my building code by heart! :p

"Is there anything you don't get by post?"

haha kinda like me but im well known in the usps office in my town lol i send lots of packages

This post is thoroughly entertaining. Archer had me laughing out loud! Of course I had to read some of the post to my DH.
I think I'm lucky to live very close to stores I like to shop in, although I do a fair amount of fabric shopping online.

I love this thread! Sitting with my DH next to me - he calls our UPS guys my other husbands. Love that I am not alone in my shopping and returning addiction.

Ha! I hear you. I get home first

Had to come back to this. I am currently away from home and felt the need to halt my mail so that my DH didn't stack the parcels up whilst I was away- as is in keeping with his sense of humour.
The post office that is a branch located in a news agency is our local. He went there today. The woman in the shop/PO asked him if we wanted the halt lifted now, because clearly he was home!!!! Sprung. Do we think I need to move towns?

My sympathies, Una. I have the same dilemma! But I'm lucky in that I'm almost always home before my husband and can intercept any packages that might have arrived.

Sorry Una. On the bright side. He should be happy that you do a lot of returns and don't keep everything lol.

My two orders of NAS stuff are BOTH arriving tomorrow!!! Rand, my UPS guy, will definitely have to make at least two trips up my 44 steps since the order includes three pairs of shoes and two of booties among other things. I know I definitely will be busted with that quantity. However, much will be returned on Thursday and maybe reordered in a different size. I am still struggling with figuring out what type and style of topper I will actually WEAR in my real (and not fantasy) life. . .
