Well, I'm going to see if I can make time to photograph my outfits in the morning before jumping on the bus like I did in the past. Not sure whether I'll manage most days, but I'd like to go back to occasional outfit photos.
You may have noticed that my hair is a but damp. I actually haven't used a hair dryer since mid-June; I wrap my head in a turban for 10 minutes after showering, apply product, and fluff with my fingers. My hair is slightly wet when I head out the door but has pretty much dried by the time I step into the office. It's a lot easier on my hair. I'm so glad that this cut really allows me to wash and wear as long as I allow 6-7 weeks between cuts. This last time, I let it go a bit longer since I was on vacation.
#1-2 didn't photograph as well as I'd have liked; you'll have to believe me that it looked great in person. The white seersucker peplum zip-up top I've had for a while, but an still figuring out how to wear. Pairing it with my new faded straight leg jeans did the trick! I popped on my low leopard print heels and huge laser-cut silver earrings. These days I hardly wear earrings at all because my ears are so sensitive to metals; I have to smear Neosporin liberally over my lobes to fight off infection, so most of the time I just don't bother.
#3 is an old favorite from last summer: black circle skirt with black ribbon as belt; drapey, geometric patterned shell; pewter gladiators; and new pendant from Connemara Marble in Ireland. Trying to stay cool on my commute with afternoon temps in the low 80's.
