Some summer dressing. Just some of my hotter weather items that are a real improvement since YLF, taking ANgies advice shopping early, et. one basic requirement is nothing with polyester or spandex. All except the navy shorter pants are cotton, linen, tinsel, loysell, or blends.
Photo one is playing pickle all. Not fashionable, but comfortable. I am one of the few out there not in athletic spandex, but I just can,t do that.
Other photos are just for casual outings, playing bridge, etc. The chinos are Bass all cotton, linen pants are from Loft, lucky sale find last summer. Again not great fit, I know they should be shortened , but since I only wear them on hot days maybe not worth the trouble. Also bought two pairs of wide leg , so wil l be wearing them more. The .

You look so nice! Cool and comfortable but everything well chosen and with a little something to make the outfits stylish. I don't see fit or length issues with anything? The second photo is the kind of go anywhere outfit I love.
Also your hair is lovely, I like the slightly swept to the side bangs in the first picture.
A better heading might have been Outfits that highlight my beautiful hair.

Summer everyday dressing is SO hard, and your looks are outstanding! #2 is a perfect example of how shoes can really elevate an outfit. And I love your drapey top in #3!
And I 100% agree with Isabel about your gorgeous hair!

Everything works wonderfully. I like the linen pants just as they are -- perfect slouchy length and drape.

I like your pickle ball outfit! It looks like a good alternative to lycra...and maybe one that I'd be willing to try. Your outfits are casual yet elegant. And, on another note--I like your red shoes in #4 so I took a look at your finds and saw the Miz Mooz sandals--I know that those are not these shoes, but do you own the Miz Mooz and do you like them?

I SO agree with you on the fabrics, though I do make an exception for "athletic spandex", which is surprisingly comfortable on the skin. I think they must've made huge advances in the fabrication technology.

Were you in the recent conversation on greying/whitening hair? You are a beautiful example of how to work a new color into your look, playing hair and clothing cuts and colors off each other, to really nice effect.

You have such a great style--I like all of these outfits! You look casually elegant and chic. I find outfit 1 a very cool-looking outfit just for hanging out; you could go to a barbecue or head to the coffee shop after your pickleball game.
