Thank you, kellygirl! The top looks nice; I’m mostly concerned about the fabric but I never considered it a high summer top anyway.
Jenn and suntiger - thank you and that’s a great jacket. I had to replace my older one since I ruined it by running my rolling desk chair over it. (Ugh.) It’s a wardrobe essential for me.
Jenn - just above the knee just looks wrong to me know. A little shorter would even be better. I don’t think the dress shrunk or anything. Ah well.
Synne, if only I had a scrunchy, but I don’t. Since I was a teenager in the 90’s, that seems like an oversight!
Angie, you’re very sweet—thank you! That dress you got is great. The peplum top stays for now but won’t be appropriate for high summer, I think. That’s okay, though.
Liesbeth, in a weird way, I, finding this to be a great time for dressing because I’m only trying to please myself. My only restriction right now is that I want to feel comfortable. It’s actually freeing.
thank you, Celia, Preppy Pear and torontogirl! The top is cute but I guess the problem is that I found to think of it as a shoulder season item, and shoulder season is short here. It’s okay to have some items that work only for shoulder season, though I wouldn’t want too many.
Slim cat, thank you! 5 and 7 are two of my faves too.
