It is SO pretty, Rae! It seems to be perfect. FWIW the 6 look perfect to my eye. Are you worried about straining the zipper on the other size? That would be my only concern.

To my eye the 6 looks the best, but you've got a few more hours and Angie should chime in soon with luck! I'd try the 4 with the spanx (not because I think you need it but because you'll feel better if you've checked all the options). Trust yourself and have another look for the spanx - it may be where it should be all the time but you've panicked and can't see it. I have done that before!

Not sure which size you should get but this dress is so you, you have to wear one. It's so gorgeous on you and the stripes sass it up too.

The dress is beautiful. You look radiant in it. I like the six on you too. Maybe you should take pctures of yourself sitting and doing different things in both the 4 and 6 to help you decide?

As far as size goes, I really can't say for sure. I agree with you about the nipped in waist of the 4, and figure if it is comfortable for you, why not? But you do need to be comfortable, so if the 6 is better, maybe you should go with it?

Oh well. At least you can rule out the 8!

Late to this dress party, but had to chime in to say "Gorgeous"! my initial reaction was the 6 looked best to my eye, with all the tiers laying nicely, but the 4 looked nice too. What feels "right" to you is the most important thing, if the 6 doesn't feel too big I would go with that one.

I am with Una on this one. I can't see a difference between 2 and 4 and so it's about how you feel. I am sure it will give in more if you keep wearing it around the house a bit more.

It's a lovely dress! The larger size is better I think (might need bodice neck alteration). Do you prefer it to the one-shoulder gown?

Rae, how do you feel about the sizes now that you've had a chance to sleep on it? The size 6 looks perfect to me. Angie mentioned the neck of the bodice ~ does it fit as smoothly as it does in the size 4? I was thinking it was just your raised arm for picture taking that made it gape just a teeny bit.

This dress is beautiful on you! I'd suggest a Spanx (or Target Assets by same designer but less expensive) in a size or two larger than what you'd ordinarily wear. You get the smoothing and some shaping without the tight discomfort. You will be a beautiful bride no matter what you wear.

Angie, I have to admit that the stripey dress is the first to make my heart pitter-patter... I will still give the one-shoulder dress a chance, though. It should arrive any day now.

Joy, thank you for the mention of the spanx sizing up. I just may try that for my niece's wedding and my dress. I normally find control top pantyhose too much so maybe sizing up in spanx will work. Brililant.
