... the boots you want WERE on sale but you couldn't buy them yet. And now that you can buy them.... argh! Figures.

do you mean the boots went back to full price or went out of stock? This has happened to me a few times ~ something I liked but decided to hold off for one reason or another, even at full price, and the item just disappeared by the time I decided to buy it. Even worse is when you save your pennies for a coveted item and by the time you have the money, the item is sold out. Argh is right! I just tell myself something else (something even better!) will come along.

They went back to full price. I really need them to come down a bit. Sold out would be very sad so I hope they go on sale soon.

Oh, no! Grr, I hate when that happens... fingers crossed that a sale comes your way. Hey, maybe they raised the price so they could lower it again for Labor Day??

Boo. As much as I love Nordstrom, I have noticed them doing this - marking things on sale and then marking them back up. Unless it is an advertized limited time only sale, I don't understand this practice.

Cheer up though as I bet they will be on sale again soon!

It's Zappos. I haven't figured out their sales yet. They seem pretty random unless a shoe is discounted to get it sold out and gone. The boot was $153 last week and now it's back to $180. That's pretty steep for my budget. I've checked 6pm.com but they don't have the boot I'm wanting. Come on, sale! LOL

If you really want the shoe, call them direct. They will adjust! It was in the New Yorker profile of the company a while back, it's part of their company policy to please a customer if they can - give it a try!
