I really enjoyed reading all your responses. I think something Runcarla said, that she enjoy the ritual, might also be part of my personal thing for toner. A lot of people made good points, like "toner" can actually mean many different things depending on the product. It could be clarifying, moisturizing, or exfoliating for example. I also agree with Krish that a serum can be really helpful, at least for me, even though it is allegedly also not necessary and can't replace a moisturizer. At so me stage of life I found my moisturizing serum to be sufficient in summer. I guess I am interested in the official reasons for why things do or don't work versus our personal experiences of what works for our skin. You can't argue with happy clear skin.
