BTW! For those who wear a lot of black - that is a COOL colour

Most of my wardrobe is warm - and I'm a WARM Spring in traditional Colour Analysis terminology - so it makes sense.

But I also wear a lot of white and navy. Those are COOL tones.

I wear all sorts of colors and don't really think in terms of cool or warm or what might be described as suiting me based on some sort of system. I do think in terms of colors that I like, and "muddy" (which I favor) and "clear" (which I don't). I also really favor complex, weird colors that are hard to describe.

Like yours, my wardrobe is a mix of cool and warm. It might breakdown along the lines of 80 percent cool and 20 percent warm. I definitely mix the two to achieve results similar to yours. For reference, I am a clear winter.

Approximately, 95% of my wardrobe is warm tones, but I do like some cooler tones mixed in to keep things interesting. I could probably count all the black wardrobe items I own on one hand and would need more than two hands to count all my orange pieces.

I wear a lot of warm tones, but I have some black pieces. Also, I have my denim pieces which probably are cool tones. Some denim is more warm-toned. I prefer mid-wash denim because it looks warmer to me. Dark-wash denim looks cooler to my eye.

My colouring is definitely cool, and so is my wardrobe. My only warms are a few pieces of jewellery, which I wear with my best cool colours.

For many years, I didn't wear beige and brown. In recent years, however, I have found cool versions that I can wear. Similarly, I guess you can find warm versions of cool colours you like.

How are you?
I really like the warm colors of spring these days.
I usually prefer a feminine look, so most of my clothes are warm-toned,
but I wear cool-toned outfits when I go to work.
It's about 80:20 ratio.
These are the warm-toned items I recently picked.

I'm cool toned and stuck primarily to those tones ... But I will happily throw in some warm details, like a cognac shoe or a gold necklace ... I think a bit of warm-cool juxtaposition can be really interesting and luxe looking.

My skin is neutral so I wear and love colors in both. Warm colors make me happy in the fall and winter, but I love crisp cool tones in the summer.

Ooh just saw this fun post!

I think I wear both somewhat equally, although black is probably my dominant neutral. I especially like to mix them - blues with tan/cream (wearing today), black with khaki, gray with orange tones, navy with beige. I like contrast though, I don't like to mix cool and warm when they don't have enough contrast. When I wear a tonal outfit then I don't need contrast. I much prefer more muted shades of both - no brights or jewel tones for me.

It totally depends on how one defines warm or cool colors, because there doesn’t seem to be much agreement. I’ll see some definitions that all reds of all shades are warm, all blues of all shades are cool, etc. I’ll see others that are more a gradient/spectrum of cool - neutral - warm with some reds being cool reds, some being warm reds, etc.

I mix and match, and estimate that maybe 60-70% what I wear are cool tones with about 30-40% warm. Saturation and undertone are more important for me. Pastels or very bright, pure neon-leaning or sour colors don’t work on me. Jewel tones are almost always a slam dunk. (And of course, I cheat a bit these days with a vivid hair color that gives me more leeway with my complexion.)
