Elly, I just wanted to say thanks for the clarification. I can see where you are coming from. Actually you have a pretty good eye--I am pretty much the size of your average 12 year old boy :). I wouldn't think of it though because I always got hand-me downs instead of hand-me ups.

Hi Scarlet -- late here but just wanted to tell you I am a huge fan of practical comfortable footwear so fine in either color. But I do think black would be more versatile, and I like the graphic effect of the white stripes. That makes the black sneakers more fashion-y, to my eye.
