DIYers - studs?

I am thinking of adding nailhead studs to the seams of a black tee. I ran across these iron on kind? Do they work or are they bound to fall off? http://www.ebay.com/itm/432PCS.....5aeea3a35e
Also are the typical ones with the pointy backs. http://www.ebay.com/itm/190886.....1423.l2648 Would I need some kind of tool for those, or do you just push them through one at a time and fold over the points?

I never studded clothing, but when I did a cork board, I had to use a hammer. I'd be careful with some of those, though. I'm not sure what happens to the pointy ends of the ones in the second length, but I imagine I wouldn't feel good on your skin.

K, good point about the prongs against one's skin. I guess trying the iron on is a safer bet. If they fall off, I'm back to a plain black tee, no holes, lol.

I think go with the round studs! I like your idea a lot. If you want a more permanent stud, they have those bedazzler things around. The back would be kind of like the back of a rivet on a pair of jeans.

More fun with dots hee hee. I was playing with spacing. At first I tried close at the collar, getting further apart near the bottom (2). I think I like close together near the hem and further apart at the collar instead (1). It kind of visually balances the direction in the seams?

Wow! Please take pics of the 'after'! They sell a variety of studs down in the fashion district and I was wondering how they would look on a plain tee or jacket
