My laptop is set up on the bar of the kitchen, and I'm in between kitchen cleaning and making fairy wings for dd's halloween costume. No one to take my full photo as dh is working still, but I'm wearing what I wore today-- white tank, black and white tweedy pencil skirt and red thong sandals from the YLF store.

I was sitting kinda sideways, so the first picture is at an angle. Then my kitty who never comes to me when I'm taking pictures stopped by, so I tried to take several of her. None quite capture her adorable face or her blue eyes, but they are somewhat cute and funny so here you go!

(for anyone who's curious, my boyfriend and I have two himalayans, they are brother and sister from the same litter)

I had just come home from work and was relaxing for a couple minutes, okay half an hour, before I started dinner. Hubby is sitting behind me doing whatever it is he does on the computer. We are in his corner, hence the flag decoration.

Oh my. I think I would have died of horror if I was a G cup by the time I was 13. I'm twice that age now and I still don't deal too well with it. I "developed" pretty early on, and it REALLY sucked. I think it ruined my childhood. But this is a happy, cute thread so I won't say any more about that!

It's a fitted T, not boxy. I am probably about 15 pounds bigger than I was then and bust aside, haven't dramatically grown much in size. I still use the dress I wore to the 8th grade dance as a nightgown. It was a crazy goth-look lace and tie dye slip dress that I wore with chunky heel, square toe mary janes. It's much too small in the chest now and rather alluring in a way that it wasn't on my skinny, sticklike 14 year old body...but it works well for sleeping.

As for the hair, I found that blotting with tissues did the trick. It's a little impractical but it's the only thing I have tried so far that really squeezes out enough moisture from my wet hair.

Well here's me, it's currently 10 minutes to 1am in Australia and I should be sleeping but...hey, I'm on hols!

Sitting on my boyfriend's sister's bed (she doesn't live here, I stay in her room when we're at his parents place), surrounded by my thrift store purchases, my notebook, sales catalogues, and coat hangers. Wearing what is fast becoming a daggy grey cardi, baggy jeans and a black lacy cami.

Could not resist pulling silly faces. Note especially my gut sticking out due to terrible posture. Also added in a pic of me just out of the shower this morning (from the shoulders up wearing a bra!), for some reason decided to snap what I looks like with no makeup at all.

Great thread, AJ! It's midnight here and I'm sitting at the computer in my nightgown after showering. We had our high school football game tonight, and I had just finished pretreating a basket full of white marching band pants with Spray and Wash. The pants are splattered with mud up to the knees, and what a mess they are! Can't stand to tackle them tonight, so they'll just have to wait until morning.

MNsara, I hear you about the reading glasses! That darn presbyopia thing is the very worst part about getting older. So far, anyway!

Scarlet - I'm terrible with geography. Where is that flag from?

Maya - Blotting with tissues is better than a cotton T? Since I got a lot of hair, I bought a pack of Hanes XL white T's and apply a thick conditioner and leave it on, stick my hair inside the T and twist it on top of my head while I finish dressing. Then I take the T off, finger style my hair and let air dry.

OK, I'm on a weekend trip with the family. We're having an end of the season 3 game baseball palooza with some sightseeing added in. Here's some pics for your viewing pleasure:

1) Butterfly conservatory
2) Beautiful first night game in the low 80's with a cool breeze. There was even fireworks at the end!
3) I don't know why but I liked this perspective at the beach.

5) & 6) I've got some serious exercising to do when I get home! I've been indulging too much all weekend!
