Got no opinions and just wanted to say you are spoilt for choice and look amazing in all. Chabad is pretty good at meeting you where you are.

Staysfit could you take pics eventually of what you do choose and post for us? I would so love to see the final outfits.
BTW if the Max Mara gets worn I also wondered about lighter coloured shoes with it?
You have so many lovely choices!

Jenni NZ, either I will take pictures or I will ask my mother to do it, She has become a fabulous photographer as a second “career”. I do have some lighter shoes although they have high heels so I am hesitant,

Vildy, thanks for the info about Chabad. My cousin told me it’s fine to have bare shoulders and to wear whatever we want. My stepmother has become very involved with the Chabad where she lives since she retired. She always wears a long skirt, long sleeves and either a wig or a hat when she attends any Chabad event.

I realized this morning that another of my dresses is almost fitting me again. (I have been slowly losing the Covid weight I gained by using Michael Gregor’s WFPB How not to Diet/How not to Die suggestions). I doubt it will fit me well by next week, which is too bad because I think it could be the best choice among my dresses for this type of event. In fact, I originally purchased it for my FIL’s wedding (second marriage after MIL’s death) which DH and I decided not to attend at the last moment (long story). I can get it on and zip it up. I can sit and bend. I think it’s still too snug around my middle. Maybe some shape wear would help! LOL! I may try it again in a couple days to see what happens.

I like #7 for the wedding and #9 for the dinner. To me the pearls compete with the neckline too much.

You look great in every option. This is a good problem to have!!!

ANewMindset, thanks, that’s very sweet of you! It is truly a privilege to be in this situation.

What a lovely lace dress! But if you won’t be comfortable in it, psychologically *and* physically, then it’s not the one for this event.

I just scrolled down so not reading others to be as impartial as I can-but you really cannot go wrong with any of these-but if you asked my personal opinion I will say so:
-great dresses (all 4!), but generally much preffer the looks without a necklace (except the last one with the V-neck-where feel is not competing with the neckline)
-I really like the first 2 dresses- my fave is the first-and find it edgy and somptuous (but no necklace and no shrug, if possible).

You look beautiful in everything! I would go with the option that best suits the weather. The DVF wrap dress is gorgeous and looks to be a good travel dress, I would take that as an option just in case the weather ends up being cooler than expected.

Staysfit, love how your Mama is getting involved, and has an opinion

Nice that you can wear what you want too! Let us know what you decide.

All your looks are Fab so you cannot go wrong whichever you choose! Maybe bring options for how you feel on that day.( sorry I am influenced by feelings probably more than I should)
More than one option is a strong testament that reflects an effective wardrobe...well done! You will look FAB!

I like 9 or 12 for wedding and the light dress for dinner.
I love your navy dress but being in CA could it feel too dark for there? From what I have seen, CA= happy colors but that may be my thing only.

The pink one is lovely. And the one with the neck part is very nice too, but don’t wear a necklace with it. That does not work at all, IMO. The long navy one is nice, too. The black one has potential for other events.
