Jenni NZ, either I will take pictures or I will ask my mother to do it, She has become a fabulous photographer as a second “career”. I do have some lighter shoes although they have high heels so I am hesitant,
Vildy, thanks for the info about Chabad. My cousin told me it’s fine to have bare shoulders and to wear whatever we want. My stepmother has become very involved with the Chabad where she lives since she retired. She always wears a long skirt, long sleeves and either a wig or a hat when she attends any Chabad event.
I realized this morning that another of my dresses is almost fitting me again. (I have been slowly losing the Covid weight I gained by using Michael Gregor’s WFPB How not to Diet/How not to Die suggestions). I doubt it will fit me well by next week, which is too bad because I think it could be the best choice among my dresses for this type of event. In fact, I originally purchased it for my FIL’s wedding (second marriage after MIL’s death) which DH and I decided not to attend at the last moment (long story). I can get it on and zip it up. I can sit and bend. I think it’s still too snug around my middle. Maybe some shape wear would help! LOL! I may try it again in a couple days to see what happens.
