The last letter appears to be an E, but that's about as far as I can get...

Holy cow! That is most likely the worst logo design I've ever seen! I have hubs on it too Maya. No worries, I'm sure we will have this sorted soon so you can have many wonderful shoes in your future. I really have my fingers crossed

Shiny, I was seeing a G in there...I mean, they could be any round letters.

I'm most perplexed by that amorphous blob that looks like a backwards "D" in the front...

Niva, I'm confident that with the full YLF force on my side, I'll figure this out. I should hand out a prize to whoever gets it right :p

I got some help from hubby. Our theory is that that backwards D may not be a part of the company name. It is part of a horizontal shoe impression. Backwards D is the heel part, the half moon next to the "shoes" is the front of the shoes. So the company name may be a version of GE?

It looks like GC Shoes to me. The backwards D is part of a shoe, Bella is right.

I haven't checked this on shoes, but clothing made in the US and Canada has what's called an "RN" (Registered Identification Number) number issued by the U. S. Federal Trade Commission. Every company that sells apparel in the US and Canada has a unique number, either 5 or 6 digits, depending on when it was assigned. For example, J Crew's RN is 77388.

It's usually on one of those additional labels--the ones that are tucked into the side seam. If you can't decipher a company's logo, you can look up the number in the FTC database at https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/TextileRN/wrnquery$.startup.
