Real quick -- I just got home from work and now i need to quickly get ready to leave for a wine tasting -- I wore the outfit to work today with the cardigan open (like pic #2) and received many compliments! Nice work! I too was looking at the ShopBop (where, it bears noting, I did MAJOR damage today) site and lusting after those brights. Your outfit is bright but not frenetic--it's thoughtful, pulled together and on trend.
I would have done the same with black tights and black shoes--I think that helps ground it and keep you veering into clown territory.
