crazy to cut off the sleeves?

I love these colors, and this dress! But man, I just don't do Prairie Core. Or Cottage Core? Anyway, no puff sleeves for this gal.

Would a seamstress be able to take those sleeves off for me?

I think it's a fairly easy alteration for a seamstress to depuff puffed sleeves and create a slimmer silhouette. Love the color of the dress!

Yes, can not only choose between de-puff and sleeveless but a sleeved armhole is usually smaller than a sleeveless opening. So the seamstress would enlarge the armhole and possible use the excess fabric from the removed sleeves to create facing. This would probably cost more than just slimming the sleeves, though.

What Vildy said. And the cost of the alteration would be almost as much as the cost of the dress.

What about altering the sleeves into something else, then - like a slim elbow length sleeve, ruffled cap sleeve or even just a slit sleeve (literally just cut it open, lol)?

I loved the puffy sleeves, neckline, and color of it.

Go for it. I often cut sleeves off of tee shirts and sometimes the neck band too, especially if the shirt is a bit too small. The tee shirt knit fabric does not ravel even when washed, so no need to rehem.
