The new boots are PERFECT! Shaft height is spot on! And so is the stitching, lovely detailing when viewed up close. And how fun that you were able to get them second hand too, no break in period required.

What I really enjoy about cowboy boots is their ability to take a lot of decoration. So I prefer the second pair, which is silver on the top half. Yes, a fully black pair is versatile, but you look like you could pull off the loudness of the second, even just for daily wear. So I would get the second.
