I am quite seriously looking to buy a pair of cords for fall--I've been stalking all of my usual shopping sources and making a list of colorful cords. Unfortunately, J.Crew's pants don't fit me well, although their colors are gorgeous. Anthro has some great AG cords, and I <3 AG jeans--but they are definitely on the pricey side.

I tried the Free People cords during NAS and found them too tight in the waist--I actually prefer low-rise pants, but I have an existent rear and non-existent waist/hips and the cords just weren't cut for my body.

I haven't worn cords for years but I am sure if I saw a pair I liked I wouldn't hesitate. I like the idea of bootlegs for a bit of a 70's retro vibe, but it really depends on how you see yourself styling them.

I bought a pair of grey cords from Talbots a couple of seasons ago. They're bootcut with a narrow whale. They're as comfy as jeans and I can wear them to work any day, even though jeans are only allowed on Fridays. They're cut pretty long, so I wear them with a pair of Born clogs that have a motorcycle-style buckle. It's a bit of a rugged look for me, but so fun! I loved them so much, I bought two more pair at the outlet last summer (brown and black). I substitute the black ones for black jeans. The ones I bought are discontinued, but they have a lot of other styles of cords on the site. Lots of great colors, too.

I have 4 pair of cords (blushing). One wide leg dark brown Limited Drew fit. One bootcut green Burton Analog pair. One Victoria's Secret cargo grey skinny pair and one Free People purple skinny pair.

I have blue straight leg cords from MAC that I love! I've bought them last winter and wore them often. I thought about getting another pair, but it isn't really a need.
