Today I'm sporting two new pieces: a semi-sheer purple plaid button-down shot with mossy green undertones from Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and a large green marble pendant necklace that was a souvenir from Connemara Marble in Ireland. (We toured the shop and factory, which has been operated by the same family for generations; I'm going to upload some photos from the workshop to this post in just a moment.)

I paired it with my beloved burgundy pencil skirt and burgundy patent pumps, which served as my favorite interview shoes all summer.

Speaking of interviews, I am so very happy at my new(ish) job. It's like night and day to return to a job that I enjoy after the stress and frustration of the last couple years. I got some great feedback, and in spite of only being here a short time (and on vacation for some of it), I'm being considered for conversion to a regular full time role down the line (my current position is temporary.)

Nothing guaranteed as it's still really competitive, but hopeful and very flattering to be considered for the opportunity at this early stage.
