OMG this is hilarious. Mr. K (he who started wearing Beatle boots in the 60s and never stopped) had a pair of boots JUST LIKE THIS. And I must confess to being kind of mortified every time he wore them out in public. SO FUNNY!! It just goes to show, context is everything!

Diana has read my mind...I have to say I like a yellower cognac than the redder ones we've had before. Maybe that's why I didn't go for any in the past. Maybe this could be described as caramel? A tasty tone either way.

I hear that simple, low heeled booties will be strong this season. Looks to be true, if this taste is any indication. I think the warm, rich color will be a wonderful juxtaposition to your fall/winter wardrobe -- can't wait to see cognac accents in your pics!
