It's so satisfying to look at neatly folded clothing, isn't it? My problem is that it doesn't stay that way though, lol
So I've taken to rolling items in clear drawers instead - I keep my hiking, swimming, gym & PJ's/ loungewear clothing separate to my main wardrobe, rolled up in bins. Forces me to keep rolling the items (instead of just flinging them in there), so that I can easily see what's in the bins or what's currently in the wash.
I'm also never going to be a minimalist (despite the limited closet space that I have in HK) - everyone else in my household always comments on how I have 'so many' clothes, despite me having less closet space than them. But that's because I'm always using (& therefore washing) my different clothing items - I'd say that's a much better use of space than having lots of clothes that I never wear! Same goes for you, Janet - don't let others write your closet rules for you!
