I own 7 pairs of jeans (in finds) and was not planning on shopping for new jeans, but just recently I realized that I am not so happy with my current collection. All 3 pairs of Levi’s jeans are rigid thick denim and currently little on the tight side. They are fine for running errands, shopping and being on my feet but I made 2 mistakes recently, first one was when I wore a pair on a long car ride, and I was so uncomfortable that we had to stop halfway so that I can change. And last weekend I wore another pair to friends house for dinner and I regretted it, again I was very uncomfortable sitting and eating in them. And they will be too warm to wear soon anyway. G-Star pair is great fitting and breezy, summer weight denim, but they crease terribly which is driving me crazy. Not good for traveling either because of that. Liu Jo Jeans is my favorite pair, but they require little heel, which is fine with my winter boots and I don’t want to shorten them, but they will probably not work with my sneakers and flat sandals. Pink M&S pair that I bought end of last summer and wore only 13 times just ripped in the wash. Very disappointing. So that leaves me basically with one pair, this True Religion light wash that have enough strech to be still comfortable.
So I went on my favorite clearance web site where I often hunt for treasures and ordered bunch of jeans. I ordered both high and low, prices varying from 30-150 euros. I ordered from familiar brands but also from some that are completely new to me. I was not sure about sizing either, especially with unfamiliar brands, so sizes are also varying. And how it is usually with clearance, if size I ordered doesn’t work, there is probably no possibility to try another size. I just received the package and will try them on soon. Please keep your fingers crossed that at least one pair works.
