I admire anyone who can carry a light or white bag. I would dirty one faster than it could come out of it's dust cover (My only white bag has a pen mark on it...despite my efforts to NOT put pens near, around or inside the bag).

#3 is gorgeous, that would be my pick, as I cannot get down with "Carolina Blue". Call me shallow and loyal to my university :). That being said, #4 is my next pick. Because it's your summer bag, it doesn't need to match with everything, and I think it's fun to pick a current *in* pastel.

I'm loving #2 and #6. What colors do you envision wearing in your clothing this spring/summer?

Oooo....just looked at Angie's links for you and I love the marble Brahmin!

I'm loving the cream ones, but I like #2 for its shape and ease of access. All of these pastels are really lovely if you do want a gentle pop of color.

Can't wait to be fully "active" so I can see this post!

#1 was my favourite, but I like Angie's pick #3 (the Aimee Kestenburg) as much or maybe more. The tassel! Ah!

So, I showed these all to my discriminating DH

He loved Angie's first pick best! I am going to try Boston Store and Macy's again this weekend and see if either of them actually stock this bag so I can see and touch it.

If not, I will order it from Nordies

That green (Loeffler Randall) was gorgeous but I turned it down for the hassle of the flap as well. I liked your second (the blue) and Angie's first and third. This is a similar sort of bag that I have noticed, though I would like it even better if the grey blocking were on the bottom to hide dirt. <http://www.colehaan.com/berkel.....20Multi#cg>

A tote is my go to bag since this winter. Ink blue and black for winter, and a vibrant stripe for the coming warm weather. I'm favouring the tote due to shlepping around with a binder, file folders, or my iPad. It all started with the ease of the Longchamps LePliage that I used during my trip last September and segued into being dissatisfied with my heavier zippered satchels.

The two pale blue totes get my vote. Very fresh looking, and they look like you. (Does that make sense?) Audition them first though, to make sure they are not too heavy!
