Angie, we are salutation jogger twins except mine are grey but a very blue grey. I got them when everything else was cropped in retail, an overdone trend, Yeah, April. My alterations person fell on ice and hit her head. Now she has problems and can’t work. Things wait until I can find a new person who can do the work, especially a knife pleated skirt that needs at least 8 inches off, probably from the top.

So, my dry-cleaning came back yesterday but it did not include my tailoring items.

It did include a jaw-dropping bill for that PRESS ONLY service on a slew of cotton and linen shirts, so I will not be doing that again.

Like conscience, laziness do cost.

“ good luck getting that dress off without sticking yourself in the eye!”

A certain dude just sent me a pic of a very long scratch up his thigh—pulled on a costume at dress rehearsal, and found out there was a pin in the pants! Nice excuse to show me his quads

I was offered a discount to keep a top I was returning because of a side seam coming open. An easy fix, but I knew it would end up never worn, sitting for some magic moment when I hauled out my sewing machine. I've become my own worst enemy.

Thanks for the push! I just took most of my alterations in: I am having some pants hemmed that I bought before the pandemic. And a couple of old long gowns turned into cocktail dresses. And a couple of jackets needed the sleeves hemmed or taken in. A giant pile of stuff! I am so glad to have it under way. I have a couple more boxes to peer into that house Fall clothing, but I am still calling this a win.
