Gorgeous, Laura! And the pearls work so well with the colour....amazing!

Oooooooh, LOVE. Now I really need to see this in person!

Thank you ladies! Whoever said Annie Lennox, that's what it reminds me of too. Maybe a little less platinum than that, but close.

To Jean's point about wearing new colors, I had fun playing around in my closet yesterday. Funny how hair color changes everything. Colors I looked good in: cobalt, fuschia, citrus yellow, and dare I say -- PEACH. Seriously! I am wondering now if I will look good in warm colors? Colors I looked dead in: grey. And of course that's 70% of my wardrobe. Time to get that scarf collection out & working again. And I think I'll go buy a peachy colored lipstick.

Laura, it looks fantastic! And here I thought I was being brave just to go auburn. I know what you mean about colors looking different with a new hair color. I put on green yesterday and the red tones in my hair practically leaped out!

Janet, I accidentally went strawberry blonde once, and I couldn't wear enough green! I bet you look amazing. Did you change your lipstick too?

I haven't experimented with lipstick in a long time, and I should get myself to Sephora or the MAC counter at Nordies. My whole life I've been conservative with lip color -- I usually keep it in the same shade as my natural lip color (and concentrate on my eyes instead since I believe they're my best feature) even though i admire how other women look in bold colors. Maybe with the new hair color, I should try something new! Thanks for the inspiration.

It's beautiful! It looks very touchable and soft, but still very edgy.

I can't wait to see more pictures, but I think this is an exciting change that looks very good on you!

Wow, Laura! What a fun change--it's adorable on you. I can't wait to see it in action--maybe some WIW's?

Lovely! You look like Nicole Kidman at that angle.

Fabulous, Laura! I also think you look Angiesque. Have fun experimenting with wardrobe and makeup colors.

You look gorgeous Laura!

I can't believe I almost missed this thread!! I am speechless, Laura!! I've been looking at your picture for 10 minutes now. The new colour is pure perfection!!!!!!!! And I also love that you've gone a little shorter even. Everything about your new do emphasizes your beautiful facial structure even more. It's amazing how 'just' another hair colour and/or style can instantly transform you (not that you didn't look amazing before, I'm thinking more about future outfits here: your hair alone will add extra polish and sophistication and fun - I'm a little jealous here!-)

Enjoy your fab new hair, Laura and all the new colours you can wear now!!

Oh Inge, you are too sweet! Thank you all, you have upped my confidence enormously.

Jean has encouraged me to try cool pastels. I know a lot of people don't like pastels, but I happen to like them, and can't wait to try them (blue and dove grey in particular). I'm going for a soft, romantic, boho feel this spring and can't wait.

Now if only we weren't getting two feet of snow on Tues-Wed ...

Gorgeous!!! First Julie, now you. You look incredible.

Have fun playing with new colors, Laura. Maybe you have neutral coloring which can do both cool and warm? And new hair color helps to bring out either one? I'm looking forward to seeing your new experiments.

Speaking of peach, when I was a lighter blonde, I had a peach cashmere sweater that looked so good, if I may say so myself.

This looks lovely and very fun! I'm with others who would love to see a few more photos.

I would also love to see some more photos, but this reminded me right away of Angie's 'do too. Looks very stylish but touchable!

I hear the requests for more photos and will try to get my husband to take some WiW photos this week so you can see the 'do in action. This morning there is no time for photos as we are busily trying to get out of the house and stock up on food and gasoline before the blizzard of the century hits.

Laura, you are a style star! You look beautiful.

I'm so late to this thread Laura, you look amazing, seriously stunning. How many hours and cappuccinos did it take to process the colour?
