We're both blondes, so I feel pretty confident in saying this: for blondes, lilac is a gray variation. Think of it as purpley gray or purpley silver. It goes brilliantly with charcoal, chocolate and navy for us. Because our blonde hair helps give something in the same color value for lighter tops to relate to, it doesn't look out of place on us in fall and winter.
