I've been on the search for a charcoal gray cardigan for multiple seasons. This is complicated, apparently. I don't like drop shoulder sweaters as they make me look wide and squat, my arms are short, as a petite person, patch pockets on a cardigan can be a problem, etc. I have bought and then donated at least three (at least the last two were thrifted, which at least shows I'm learning, right)?
On a whim, I decided to try this jacket, and I think it going to fill that need nicely, or even, more satisfactorily than a cardigan would have. The jacket is perhaps technically black and white, but it reads charcoal with a bit of a light fleck. The shoulders fit my shoulders, the lapels in the petite are proportional, and it is very comfortable. The reviews complain about the sizing and recommend sizing down, but in petite, I found it to be true to size and the small petite (my usual size) was good.
