anchie, BALANCE is almost always key in life, right?

Very interesting recent observations!

Simply put, this is my opinion, FWIW:

Your sartorial preferences changed, and your wardrobe and style need to pivot to support the change. You don't have enough of the items you do want to wear, and too many of the items you don't want to wear.

Next steps: Slowly build the wardrobe to suit this leg of your style journey. And enjoy the process as well as the outcome

Angie's advice is perfect.

anchie--thanks for the info. I think I got a little carried away with my ideas...
but I do need to learn more about CPW, and if it applied to items other than high-cost ones.

OMG Angie! You are so right, how I haven’t seen that!? Last 3 years I didn’t buy a lot of clothes while my needs and preferences have changed. Of course my wardrobe is out of balance!
