Starting a new thread just because I wanted to be able to use that title, LOL! Doesn't that sound so funny? Here are some more choices/pics (and I tried to take pictures with my arms at my side at Angie's request). Let me know what you think of these capes and which is your favorite (if any). I would probably keep only one or at most two (one cape & one sweater poncho), like the camel one plus either the green or purple one. Thanks for your advice!

1-5. Nordstrom Helene Berman wool blend cape:

This cape was mentioned in Angie's post on Eliminating Cape Fear. I like the camel color, clean and slightly more structured look, and the fact that it has pockets! Plus you can wear it open as well. I sized down--this is an XS. I have a camel wool coat that is on its last legs (the lining is all torn up and the sleeves are worn) so this would be a perfect replacement that's a little more up to date. I went ahead and bought this but I can still return it. The only thing that's annoying me is that I know this cape was on sale at the NAS so it's kind of bugging me that I'm buying something full-price when it was cheaper before...I feel like a sucker. But capes weren't even on my radar back then (look at how far I've come!). So, would you keep this even knowing that you could have had it for less earlier?

6-10. Anthro Cabled Cocoon cardigan. S/M.

Still obsessed with this one since it's getting so much love from the other gals on my mommy board. Here's one additional pic with my arms straight at my side...although it doesn't look so good that way (I look like a big green egg!). The one at the store was pretty roughed up so I ordered a new one in case I do keep this one.

11-13. Anthro Golden Gate Cardigan. S/M. Unfortunately they didn't have this in the store so I couldn't take any pictures. But I have it on order as well to try on. I did actually try it on a few weeks ago in the SF store, and thought it looked huge so I didn't get it. But I guess capes are supposed to be big so I'm giving it another shot because I really like this plum purple color.

14-17. Anthro Hallstatt Plaid Cape

I like the colors and I like plaid and it has a belt to define the waist. I'm just not so sure...I think it looks a little huge on me. It's "one size fits all". I didn't buy this one but wanted to include it since people were asking me to look at waist-defining capes.
